The Cobra 9200CS is the world's first 9-band Radar/Laser detector.  It
represents the ultimate in detection technology.  The unit is designed
to maximize your awareness of your driving environment by reducing your
risk of accidents and traffic vioilations.  The unit receives 4 radar
signals -- X Band, K Band, KA Superwide, and VG-2 Alert.  It also
receives 3 laser signals -- LTI 20-20, Ultra Lyte and ProLaser.  Finally
it also receives two safety systems -- Safety Alert and Strobe Alert.
The unit provides 360 degree detection of laser signals, warns drivers
of emergency vehicles and road hazards from systems equipped with Safety
Alert transmitters.  A Cobra exclusive, works with tens of thousands of
emergency vehicles currently equipped with Strope Alert systems.  The
detector provides advanced alert of the presence and/or approach of these
vehicles.  You can easily recognize the band in used by band identification
letters.  The user is provided with the relative proximity to the target
and there is even a band voice annunciation.  The unit can be automatically
muted for enhanced driver convenience.  The detector allows the user to
select operating mode reducing the frequency of falsing in densly
populated urban areas.  The radar detector's display can be dimmed to
enhance night driving visibility.  The unit notifies the user that the
radar detector has correctly completed a self-test and is ready for
operation.
