Uniden's latest advance in Trunked System following scanners is the
BC 245 XLT. The radio is much like the BC 235 XLT, but now instead of
just following Motorola Trunked Systems it is capable of both Motorola
and G.E. Ericsson Trunked systems.
Additionally the radio will feature 100 talk groups, the ability to scan
talkgroups from multiple trunked systems as well as scan trunked and
non-trunked systems at the same time. The scanner will also follow
trunked radio systems on not only 800 MHz but also VHF, UHF and 900 MHz
frequencies.
Frequency coverage is from 29 - 54 MHz, 108 - 174 MHz, 406 - 512 MHz and
806 - 956 MHz (excluding cellular coverage). The scanner also comes with
all you need to get it operating immediately including ni-cad battery
pack, wall adaptor/charger, rubber duckie antenna, earphone, owner's manual
and the Trunktracker Frequency guide.
