The new Spirit M-Series UHF radios let you communicate at the touch of a
button. Ther are no phone numbers to dial, no busy signals, and no
voicemail. Contact is instant -- whether you need to communicate with
one person or more than one person. Spirit radios transmit and recieve
directly from radio to radio, so there's no base station required and
no service fees. Built to endure the rough demands of today's jobsites
and workplaces, Spirit radios are weather-resistant and tough enough to
withstand a four-foot drop onto concrete.
Distance range for the Spirit (MU24CVS) is up to five miles on flat
ground (with no obstructions) up to 2 miles near residential buildings,
up to 250,000 square feet in steel and concrete reinforced buildings and
up to 20 floors in multi-level buildings.
The MU24CVS is a four channel radio and it can operate in the hands-free
vox mode and can scan among the four channels. It has a user programmable
CTCSS tone which eliminates any interference and allows you to hear only your
own units.
The radio will operate with other Motorola accessories.
