The BC92XLT is a 200 channel scanner with 10 banks. The radio is designed
to be compact for added flexibility and portability. The Close Call RF
capture technology instantly tunes to signals from nearby transmitters.
Frequency coverage is from 25 -54 MHz; 108 - 174 MHz, 406 - 512 MHz and
806 - 956 MHz (excluding cellular). There are 10 programmable search
ranges which helps you find unlisted frequencies in your area. Additionally
there are 6 pre-programmed service searches including public safety,
railroad (by channel), air, marine (by channel), CB (by channel), GMRS/FRS
(by channel) weather, news media, ham radio and special. The backlight
display makes for easy night time operation using Uniden's patented
backlight-on squelch feature that illuminates only when there is channel
activity. The radio operates on 2 AA batteries and you can use either
alkaline for long life, or rechargable batteries for economy. Additionally
the batteries can be charged while in the scanner. There is also a priority
scan, attenuator and a delay.
