The Sangean ATS-404 is the
worlds first full performance, full featured digital, AM/FM
stereo shortwave receiver to offer features and performance of
the most expensive table model receiver at an affordable
price. The receiver tunes continuously all shortwave
bands and any frequency in-between. It automatically
scans every memory preset and plays feach in
sequence for seven seconds. The radio also automatically
determines all memory presets based upon signal strength of
station and even includes an alarm clock.
Other features included an illuminated display, auto/manual
search, dual time display, 12/24 hour display, seconds
display, lockswitch, adjustable sleep timer, snooze control,
keypad entry, 45 memory presets, 9/10 KHz switch, tone
control, AM/FM Stereo/SW as well as a carring case and stereo
earbuds.
