The Uniden GPS receiver works with the Uniden scanners listed
above which are GPS controllable. The GPS Receiver
accurately accesses the satellites and transmits the information
back to the scanner.
The GPS receiver works best with scanners that have a
pre-programmed database in them. (HP 1 & 2, BCD436/536 and the
SDS100.200 receivers. It can be used with the other models
as long as the GPS co-ordinate and ranges are programmed into
the scanner. This makes scanning much easier while
traveling over large distances as the GPS receiver will
determine your location and load the frequencies for that area
into the radio automatically. |
