Why Can't I Get Into The Database?

The main reason why most people can not get into the Betty Bearcat or
Mr. Scanner CD Rom Databases is because they do not have the proper user
name and password required to enter these sites. If you are a current
subscriber to National Communications Magazine then the service
is free, but you need to apply for the user name and password on line. The
specific information on how to do this is in every issue of National Communications.
If you do not subscribe, or only want to use the database for a couple of
days, then click here and fill out the form.

If you have a password it is possible that your user name and password have already
expired. All you need to do is re-register to get a new user name and password.

A Temporary Note We have recently moved servers and as part of that
move it was necessary to re-configue the Betty Bearcat & Mr. Scanner CD Rom
Databases. If you already have a working password, the Betty Bearcat Database
should work for you. Mr. Scanner should be operating by September 15th. Also
the registration form is not working, but we should have it that on line
by the 16th of September. If you have already submitted a password request
and have received an email from us about the delay there is no need to
re-register. You will receive your user name and password as soon as we get
that section functioning.
