Welcome to our website. We feature all sorts of information and products for the radio enthusiast. Not only do we sell scanners through our Hobby Radio Stop catalog, but we also sell CB radios, shortwave, radar detectors, two-way radios and much more. We also write about them in the pages of National Communications magazine. You can even order back issues of the magazine all the way back to the beginning by clicking on the Back Issues Button on the Nat-Com Page. We have two specialized clubs for the Scanner Fan or the CB User.
You can get all sorts of radio frequencies on the Mr. Scanner CD Rom. The CD is a raw dump of the FCC database. The Rom is available for purchase through the Hobby Radio Stop or can also be searched on line with a subscription to National Communications magazine.
If you have a police scanner and want to know what 10-7 means when your local police officer says that over the radio, our Radio Ten Codes section will give you the information you need. If you would like to see what we have on paper, check out our form to receive our Catalog in the mail.
You can place a FREE Classified Advertisement in National Communications magazine. You can also subscribe to the #1 scanner and CB magazine in the world. You can even order back issues in PDF format all the way back to the beginning by clicking on the Back Issues Button. The Magazine is read by 95% of all new scanner users and 96.7% of all new CB users. If you want to be included as a subscriber to this information packed magazine, subscribe now by clicking on the magazine's link.
Want to know what is going on in our neighborhood? Click on the "Daily Views" button for Southwest Ohio. You can see our weather or interesting places from all across the southwestern part of the state of Ohio. Have a trunked radio and wondering what the fleet ID's are for your area? By clicking on our Trunktracker section you can get all the frequencies and talkgroup Ids and you can also submit frequencies and Ids you have come up with.
Want frequencies to program into your scanner? We have the site for you. By searching through our frequency sampler you can have access to over 4 million frequencies from across the U.S., Canada and beyond. While much of the information on the page is free, the most exhaustive list of frequencies (contained on two CD roms) are on a password protected web site. However, if you are a member of the Bearcat Radio Club or National Citizen's Band Center, or a subscriber to National Communications Magazine, then the service is free. You just need to apply for the user name and password. If you do not belong to any of the above, you can also get a user name and password and subscribe on line.
This website can offer you hours of interesting exploration -- from frequencies to photos to radio codes and signals to articles from National Communications. Enjoy!
