The Sangean ATS-818CS is a
PLL synthesized world band receiver with a programmable
cassette recorder. It is the world's only portable world
band receiver offering more features and performance than many
expensive table top shortwave receivers. Some of
the features include all SW bands from 120m to 11m,
radio/buzzer clock alarm, BFO for single side
band & CW, continuous AM coverage from 150 - 29999 KHz plus FM
88.5 to 108 MHz., 45 memory presets, play/record LED
indicator, AM wide/narrow filter, dual time display for local
and UTC time, programmable recorder, adjustable sleep timer,
RF gain control, dual conversion receiver, signal strength &
battery indicator, auto-stop cassette feature, tone control &
safety lock.
Also five tuning methods: Direct frequency input,
auto scan, manual scan, memory recall and rotary dial.
