The AC 140U AD Adaptor is used to power Uniden scanners
that run on 12 volts AC. Output of the adaptor is 12
Volts at 500 mA. Most mobile and tabletop scanners
requiring a 12 volt supply will accept this unit.
Also many of the older hand held units use this adaptor as a
power supply and charging unit. Units like the BC 100 /
200 / 205 are prime users of the adaptor to charge the battery
pack. Also Regency and Realistic units that were
made by Uniden (Look for made in Philippines on the FCC ID
tag) will use this unit.
