Cable Eliminated the need for hand-programming of your scanner.
The cable has a USB A connector at one end, and a 3.5mm plug at
the other. It connects to your scanner's PC interface
jack, allowing you to download frequency data directly from your
computer (requires Scancat Software which is not included).
Bi-directional data transfer cabability even lets you upload
your frequencies and settings back to a computer (if supported
by your scanner). That way, even in the event you lose all
the information
stored in your scanner, it can easily be retreived.
Cable is designed to work with RadioShack and GRE scanners
capable of being programmed via a computer.
The software works with windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista.
Also included is a conversion cable for use when programming
some of the models listed above.
It is USB 1.1 and 2.0 compliant.
A CD ROM with drivers is also included.
